Not content to help out Democrat Robert Robuck in his campaign against Pima County Supervisor Ramon Valadez, Pima County Supervisor Ray Carroll has now sent out a letter to Independents in Legislative District 27, urging them to vote for Democrat John Kromko.
“These days, there aren’t enough politicians who are will to stand up for principles,” writes Carroll, who evidently didn’t spend much time proofreading. “You are fortunate enough to have a candidate for the Arizona Legislature in District 27 who has the independence to do the right thing: That person is John Kromko.”
Carroll says he’s crossing party lines to support Kromko because “he thinks for himself.”
Kromko is running against incumbent Democrats Phil Lopes and Olivia Cajero Bedford.
